The Sacred Mountain Retreat, in Julian, CA is a very special place. It’s a private, rustic mountain ranch nestled in the Cuyamaca Mountains in San Diego County. My good friends/family, Kat and Pat Badir recently got hitched at this breathtaking venue, and I was honored (to say the least) to provide the dessert table for their union. There was crisp spring air, gorgeous blooms everywhere, a stunning bride and groom, and most importantly, love and desserts!

Julian is know for their pies, so I didn’t want to disappoint. They wanted a mix of full sized pies, mini pies, tin pies and pie pops, as well as cake pops for their table. There were so many goodies, we could barely fit them all, but I think it worked out. 😉
Proof that you CAN do pie for a cutting. They wanted to do a Boston Cream for theirs. How cute is their topper!
